I Try to Avoid Politics But I Couldn't Help It With This One

Just because of a dance, Indonesia wants to bomb Malaysia? People are getting really ridiculous. Here's the scoop for those who don't know about this issue:

Malaysia is declaring the Mandailing's traditional dance, called Tor-Tor, as its National Heritage per request of the Mandailing community in Malaysia. The Mandailings in Malaysia are of Indonesian origin, who have been living in Malaysia for the past 200 years. They want their culture to be recognized in Malaysia just as the Chinese, Indians and all other local tribes are recognized; i.e. they want to be a part of this country. They want to be a part of Malaysia.

Because of this declaration, many Indonesians are outraged towards the Malaysian, calling them dogs, pigs and all kinds of names that are so terrible, there's not even the English version of the words. How did the Malaysian find out about this? Through a trend in twitter when the Indonesians, the world's 5th largest Twitter user, trended #MalaysiaMiskinBudaya on June 18th. The trend, translated as Malaysia lacks culture, confuses many Malaysians because they were clueless as to why they were insulted as such...which was figured out eventually. I can say about 99.99% of Malaysians response can basically be summarized as such: And all the Indonesians was like, "Hey Malaysian, Tor Tor is ours" and all us Malaysians was like ... "we don't even know what's that" May I just say that I've never heard of Tor Tor until I saw the insulting trend on Twitter? Anyway, back to topic.

The Mandailing Community's request and the Malaysian government compliance have caused massive problems and hatred between the two countries (mainly the hatred of the Indonesians towards the Malaysians). In the link I provided, an Indonesian commented that Indonesia should break all diplomatic, military and socio-economic ties with Malaysia...and to get ready to attack the country to teach the Malaysians for being very rude.

My personal opinions are as such:

First and foremost, why the fuck did Malaysia declare the dance as national heritage? There's so many actual local cultures that have not been declared as national heritage yet, such as those of the aborigines here.

Secondly, Indonesians should realize that it's the Mandailing community who wants Malaysia to declare their culture as Malaysia's National Heritage.

Last but not least, Indonesians should also realize that, if they want to break all diplomatic, military and socio-economic ties with Malaysia, then Malaysia should have no problem in complying to the request because Malaysia is the country that's been helping Indonesia with all their troubles and natural disasters (you've all heard of the tsunami in 2004, right?). Malaysia was the first country to give a helping hand towards Indonesia. Even more generous, Malaysia is the country where many, MANY Indonesians go to find jobs. And many of them are illegals. And many of those illegal immigrants cause a lot of trouble to the Malaysians; they rob our houses, threaten us with machetes, some goes as far as killing us, and rape our women. As you can see, Malaysia have had so much problem caused by the Indonesians. I believe Malaysia can live without any ties with Indonesia. Hey, with the Indonesians out of ties with Malaysia, maybe Malaysia would no longer have these problems! Also, before I finish my ranting, the terrible haze that occurs every year in Malaysia? Yeah, those are caused by the burning of forests across Indonesia; stop acting all innocent, the wind carries the smoke to Malaysia. Learn some Earth Science. For your own sake.

I'M JUST SAYING
