Why Can't We Just Be Happy For Others?

It's been officially 2 weeks since the new semester of a new school year started. Since coming back, I've been hearing various news of students here, those who got enganged, those who got married and even those who passed away (may God bless their souls). It is tragic indeed for those who passed, but as a saying goes "the good always die young." I guess that makes us bad people....

Which is true. Hearing someone getting married is a wonderful and happy news. It goes to show that there are people out there who are in love and want to grow old together. I always love seeing old couples walking hand in hand at a park or sitting peacefully side by side on their porch. smiling for reasons only they know or maybe even reminiscing the life they've spent together.

Anyway, back to whatever I wanted to talk about. These news of marriage is shocking at times. I admit I was a bit shock to hear of my peers getting married. It only means that my time will come soon *my point? it's a scary thought!* Nonetheless, I congratulate the newlyweds and I'm very happy for them. May they have a lasting marriage. But there are those who condemn their marriage. Okay, maybe the word "condemn" is a tad too strong but still, how can you talk shit about the newlyweds? What I don't understand is how can you even think of those stupid things that you said? Things like "Yeah, they just wanna have sex without committing sins." Let's face it, in every Abrahamic religion, having sex outside marriage is sinful.

I mean dude like what the fuck? They're in love. So let them be, let them make their choices of their life partner. Why talk so much shit about them? I know them and they're NICE PEOPLE. You know they're nice people. They don't do shit like you do. They don't go out and get drunk all the time and have one night stands. This entry may seem like it goes out to certain people but it really goes out to all of you who talks stupid shit like that about them. I mean...WHAT THE FUCK like seriously, how can you even think that way?

Why the fuck can't you just be happy for them? Are you jealous? Did you not get the girl or guy you want? Is that it? If it is, then DEAL WITH IT. That's your problem. Don't make up stupid shit about others. It just shows how insecure you are and you're ridiculing yourself.
